The wait is over..... The SD Early Season Hunts are some of the best
We know the pain of not getting your gun powder therapy for months. We understand and we can help! September Early Goose in South Dakota is a great time to get your fix from months of waiting and yearning to pull the trigger and watch a giant canada fall from the sky.
Have you ever wanted to hunt in the Central Flyway? A Flyway that is home to a huge percentage of North America’s waterfowl. That is exactly what you can experience with an Early South Dakota Goose Hunt in September. The local population of birds will not disappoint.
The majority of our early season hunts will take place in fields. For our hide, we use Tanglefree Flight Series layout blinds. These blinds are durable, easy to hide, and the best part, they are so comfortable, top notch product. In early season there is a chance that crops are still in the fields, and we could be in standing corn, or utilize panel blinds. The spread is far from disappointing with our life like full body Dakota Decoys, and our incredible new system tanglefree silhouettes. These help get the geese to melt into the spread for you to take’em! We have the equipment to make your hunt as successful as possible.
The 2020 Season started out this year with Girls-N-Guns Waterfowl Weekend.....
“I am so excited this is a yearly event.. Saturday morning we had great temperatures mixed with great people. The only thing we could have asked for was some wind. Our guides were amazing and we had some birds drop in the morning. The flight slowed as it usually does and there was nothingness. You could feel the field was going to be on fire so no one wanted to leave. We had pizza and beverages delivered to the field courtesy of Rise-N-Grind. It was great! As evening approached so did the geese. It was flock after flock and us ladies were on fire. Despite different experience levels, the guides at Rise-N-Grind helped and taught us how to get the job done. I am without a doubt going back next year. Thank You Rise-N-Grind Outfitters for getting us birds in our face, but even more important are the friendships that we have made and the memories we will never forget!”
